What’s the biggest package you ever had delivered from Amazon? I’m going to guess it weighed less than 7,800 pounds and didn’t require a crane to get off the truck.

There’s a two-bedroom tiny house that’s listed for $18,990 right now, and it’s more spacious than it looks because of a smart layout. While tiny homes often have a shotgun-style layout because they’re made of shipping containers, this Jaxenor prefab home has a roomy, square-shaped floor plan with natural light flooding in from seemingly everywhere you turn.

Windows are a must when it comes to making tiny homes feel bigger and more inviting — and this one has glass to spare. In addition to the broken-bridge aluminum double door at the entrance, there are sliding windows built roughly every 6 feet into the exterior walls.

The entire building is already assembled upon delivery, which is why the load is so heavy. The floors slide out from the center section and the walls, prebuilt and attached, unfold and lock into place with the windows already built in.

The parts include a steel frame, insulated foam wallboards that are wind resistant up to 63 miles per hour (level 10 on the Beaufort Wind Scale), and a roof that’s graded to hold the weight of more than 6 feet of snow. The toilet, shower, and sink are also included and are ready to be hooked up to a water line.

You can even get the house delivered in five days if you pay a little more for shipping. Just be sure you have a concrete foundation laid down and a crane ready to get it off the truck. This tiny home is available in a few bigger sizes at Amazon, ranging up to a 19-by-20-foot model that’s $19,000.
